Recycling Collection Schedule

Recycling collection will occur on your trash day every other week.  To help you remember your recycling week, there is a decal inside the lid of your recycling cart.  It it's a purple decal, you recycle on purple colored weeks.  If it's an orange decal, you recycle on orange colored weeks.  View the calendar to see the 2012 recycling collection schedule.  If you have any questions, please call Allied Waste at (208) 345-1266 or Boise City at (208) 384-3901.

2012 Holiday Schedule

Recycling collection is delayed by one day for the following holidays: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. 2012 Recycling Calendar.

Special Programs

• Curbside Leaf Collection:  November 5 - November 30, 2012
• Christmas Tree Collection:  January 7, 2013 - January 11, 2013
• Residential Cleanup Weeks:  April 2 - April 13 and December 31, 2012 - January 5, 2013

Residential Cleanup Weeks

Each year, the City offers three weeks of overflow trash collection service. This allows residents to dispose of larger amounts of waste typically generated during the winter holidays and spring cleanup. Residents can set out as much trash as they want but all waste must be in wheeled carts or 20- to 32-gallon trash cans.  No Overflow Stickers are needed.
