Glass Collection Drop-off Sites
Drop off glass at any of the collection sites located throughout Boise. All types of glass bottles and jars (clear and colored) are accepted. Remove lids, caps, plastic bags, and cardboard boxes before depositing glass. Do not leave plastic or paper bags, cardboard boxes, or garbage at the drop-off sites. Do not put glass inside your curbside recycling cart.
Unacceptable Items
- Light bulbs
- Porcelain or ceramic products (including Pyrex)
- Mirrors
- Window glass
- Fish tanks
- Fluorescent tubes and CFL bulbs are hazardous waste and should be disposed of properly. See the Hazardous Waste Disposal section for more information.
