Have you heard that blue is the new green?  The City of Boise's no-sort carts make recycling easier than ever. Once upon a time, you separated your plastics from your paper from your aluminum cans.  Now, you can simply toss all your recyclables into your blue cart.  Who says it's not easy being green?

Recycling is an important component to making Boise a more sustainable community.  It makes sense both environmentally and financially:

  • Diverting waste from the landfill means lower trash rates.
  • Recyclers pay $4 less per month than non-recyclers on their utility bill.
  • Using recycled materials conserves natural resources and helps preserves forest, wetlands, and rivers.
  • Recycling saves energy.  Recycling one aluminum can saves enough energy to keep a 100-watt bulb burning for almost four hours.

So, what are you waiting for?  If you don't currently recycle, it's time to get a cart and start curbing your waste. Contact us to order a new or additional cart.
