Medication Disposal Program

 

Ongoing Programs

Residents can drop off unwanted medications and outdated prescriptions at area law enforcement offices for free and safe disposal. Boise City, Garden City, Meridian, and Eagle Police Departments, and the Ada County Sheriff's Office will each offer a "no questions asked" medications collection bin in the lobby of their respective headquarters.

By participating in this program, residents will protect the Boise River's water quality and reduce the potential for medication mistakes and misuse in our community.

The Prescription and Medication Program is for Ada County households only. Business Wastes are NOT accepted. Please see our Business Waste section for more information.
