Christmas Tree Collection

You can recycle your Christmas tree and bundled branches from January 6 - January 10, 2014. Set your tree out for curbside collection on your regular trash collection day. Please note the following guidelines:

  • Trees  must be free of lights, ornaments, tinsel, and stand.
  • Trees must be cut to 4-foot lengths or shorter. Tree branches must also be bundled and weigh less than 60 pounds.
  • Flocked trees and wreaths are not accepted.

Extra leaves will also be collected curbside and recycled. Leaves must be in paper leaf bags. Leaves in plastic bags or boxes will not be collected.

Participating in the leaf and tree collection program saves space in your trash cart and helps Boise achieve sustainability.
