Letter of Interest to purchase compost

The city of Boise City is producing compost from residential yard debris and vegetative food scraps. The compost may be used as a soil amendment, top dressing landscapes, as a soil improvement and as mulch.  The compost is available to residential customers, but the City has compost in excess of what has been returned to residential customers.

The City is now accepting applications to purchase excess compost. The City anticipates that purchase contracts will extend for a one-year period, with compost prices established annually. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applicants. Applications will be selected in the best interest of the City.

Applications must be submitted by December 18, 2017.
